パーティショーン
数ヵ月前にドライバをアップデートしたところ Windows 2000 が起動しなくなってしまった Tekram DC390U を捨て、ハードディスクなどの追加も行って、はれて IDE デバイスだけで ACPI マシンとなった（家のマシン）。
いつも通り Windows 2000 & FreeBSD を NT loader から dualboot にしようとしたところ boot.ini に間違ったブートセクタイメージを指定してしまい、そいつで起動したところパーティションテーブルがとんだ(;_;)
当然パーティション情報などメモっていないのが世の常で、相当焦る。バックアップももちろん古いのしかない。学校から復旧用の OS 用に、余っているハードディスクや Partition Magic を借りてきたりしたが、結局資源不足で学校で復旧作業。
世の中パーティションテーブルをとばす人は大勢いるようで不正確なものを含めて情報が豊富で助かった。今回はgpartというツールで何とか事なきを得た模様。
